Mark Rieper has spent over 14 years working closely with Global 500 companies across Asia, EMEA and the Americas to help improve the global capabilities of leaders, managers, and high potential talent.  He has been particularly focused on companies in the US and China that have faced challenges and opportunities when leading and collaborating across cultures to achieve business results.

Mark has advised many of the world’s largest and most successful companies on key global talent strategy and development issues with a focus on globalizing current and future leaders within these organizations.  He has also conducted individual and group development programs for these companies around the world with a specialization in bridging gaps between US and Chinese business cultures, teams, and leadership styles.

At Next Global Leaders, Mark works directly with each clients' top stakeholders and their leadership talent to provide custom coaching and consulting solutions which are targeted at the immediate and future global leadership development needs of each leader in the US and China. Mark is a certified Executive Coach with a proprietary global leadership framework that is integrated into his clients' consulting solutions and coaching engagements.

Prior to Next Global Leaders, Mark led the worldwide Solution Consulting practice at GlobalEnglish, a Pearson company. Previously, he worked at Aperian Global, a cross-cultural consulting company, where he led the Client Strategy department for the Americas region.

In addition to working with clients across their global locations, Mark has lived in China and Taiwan, speaks Mandarin Chinese, and has been traveling back and forth to China for the past 20 years.  He is based in Boston and holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA from Colgate University.
